Small note of my own interpretation- IN many versions of animatics, Odysseusis wearing Polites' headband. Polites advocated generosity, kidness and love. And in the moment he decides to become 'the monster' Penelope removes Polites' headband. Because even though his best friend died believing in the good of his friend... Odysseus has turned against his wishes.

The soldiers were blaming Odysseus for everything going wrong Polites still believed in open arms Anticlea (Ody's mom) never stopped hoping her son would come home Also, while not exactly confirmed in the musical (all that's said is that she died on a broken heart), in the source material Odysseus' mom basically offed herself after the crew opened the bag of winds. They were so close to home that she saw the ships get blown away, thought her son died, and walked into the ocean to join him. Also in the books, Odysseus tries to hug his mom's ghost 3 times, but obviously fails.

I know we're meant to feel bad for Neo at 14:00, but this episode really solidified my hatred for her. She literally spent her time beating down, both physically and emotionally, a teenage girl for some twisted form of revenge. And she only targeted Ruby after realizing Cinder was too powerful (their fight in Haven). We're looking at a full-grown woman push a broken girl into committing suicide and suddenly feeling bad, not for doing it, but because she didn't think through that she'd have nothing left. I don't feel sorry for Neo, because in the end, she was an adult that was too scared to accept the truth, and when she wasn't strong enough to kill one person, she went after a 17-year-old girl instead.

I love the fact that you pointed out that if Pyrrha had gotten the maiden powers, she would have been insane. I would do anything to see an alternative story where Pyrrha and Cinder fought with half and half of the maiden powers :0

One thing I haven't seen people commenting on, Cinder can split maiden power using that Grimm glove. She's successfully diverted power from both Raven and Penny, so even her "failed" attempts to get Maiden power have resulted in her getting stronger, and she's probably the strongest maiden by sheer maiden power alone at this point

The thing I love most about this episode is the conversation between Yang and Blake in the truck. The two of them are in near perfect sync, but it's impossible to avoid disagreements. When Blake aired her disagreements with Adam, he was quick to brush aside her feelings without even listening to what she was saying. He would personally attack her and belittle her into thinking that she was the problem. It's hard to catch on the first watch, but you can see Blake closing herself off, wrapping her arms around herself, which she's done before when talking to Adam. She's really scared of being attacked as she was before and unconsciously makes herself seem smaller. But, Yang isn't Adam. She understands that Blake doesn't want to fight a fellow huntress, and especially not Robyn Hill, a huntress that Blake can easily relate to, a freedom fighter for the people and faunus. And, Yang would never force Blake into something she doesn't want to do. If you look closely, an especially tragic moment is when Yang makes the decision not to fight. You can see Blake's eyes widen in surprise. She's so used to being ignored that she really didn't think that her words would get through, but she knows she's talking to Yang and not Adam. Yang is the one that always listens to her partner, whether they agree or not.

Finally, a accurate depiction to how i reacted. Even as a long time sonic fan who eats peak music on the regular. They really spoiled us this time. But fr, weve been getting banger like these since 1998. Sonic has just always been built with hard rock and hair metal. Im just so happy Frontiers was high profile enough to feed people outside this fandom. Now ya gotta listen to I'm Here Revisited. Its the true final boss song.
